Heart of a Champion Foundation

The Heart of a Champion Foundation is an independent, national non-profit organization utilizing multiple media tools to build and reinforce character and virtue in young people. Blending the message and the messenger, the Heart of a Champion Foundation’s winning formula teaches and models character education at the grassroots level, to mold better citizens and develop the heart of a champion in youth.

The Heart of a Champion® school program is a unique, in-class character education program that teaches positive character values and traits through video, audio, and written vignettes featuring individuals who are real-life models of character. Teaching virtues through “sight and sound” stories of positive role models attracts the attention of learners and engages their interest, raising questions that lead to discussions and reflections about the implementation of those virtues into the daily life process.  Stories that demonstrate values such as integrity, perseverance, commitment, self-control, compassion, respect, and responsibility, encourage students to recognize and follow their examples. The Heart of a Champion program also includes student, teacher, and parent enrichment materials to reinforce the positive character traits that are taught and discussed.
